Chez Louis

Mediterranean Restaurant

Port Louis Marina, Grenada - 2024

Summary

I was tasked with creating a vibrant yet refined visual identity for Chez Louis, a Mediterranean restaurant located at Port Louis Marina, St George, Grenada. While sharing a playful spirit with Café Louis, the design direction for Chez Louis was developed to feel more elevated and restaurant-focused, balancing warmth and energy with effortless elegance.

The scope of work included:

  1. Visual Identity and Guidelines: Developed the complete visual identity, including logo, icon, typography direction, color palette, and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints while reflecting the restaurant’s Mediterranean coastal atmosphere.

  2. Hand-Drawn Illustrations: Created bespoke hand-drawn illustrations that bring warmth and personality to the brand, complementing the Mediterranean concept with an artistic and approachable touch.

  3. Print and Collateral Design: Designed menus, packaging, stationery, uniforms, aprons, plates, fabric napkins, and additional branded elements that align with the identity and elevate the overall dining experience.

  4. Social Media Graphics: Created visual assets for social media, including highlight covers and branded templates, maintaining a cohesive and recognizable digital presence.



Goal

The goal was to create a visual identity that feels vibrant, elegant, and distinctly Mediterranean while maintaining the relaxed spirit of the Caribbean setting. The brand needed to reflect effortless dining, coastal sophistication, and a sense of escape. Through a balanced combination of lively color, hand-drawn illustration, and refined design elements, the identity positions Chez Louis as a destination where guests can slow down, savor carefully crafted cuisine, and enjoy the rhythm of marina life.

Client

Chez Louis is a Mediterranean restaurant located at Port Louis Marina, St George, Grenada, where dining meets effortless elegance. Inspired by sun-soaked coastal flavors, the restaurant offers fresh, carefully crafted dishes alongside stunning sea views and a breezy poolside atmosphere. Le Bar de Chez Louis completes the experience with refined cocktails in a Riviera-style setting, inviting guests to relax, savor, and escape.
