Summary

I was tasked with creating a new visual identity for Chemtov, a French street fashion and sneaker brand known for its curated selection of collectible and premium sneakers. The project focused on establishing a bold and contemporary brand language that reflects the culture of sneaker collecting while positioning the brand with a refined and recognizable visual presence.

The scope of work included:

  1. Visual Identity and Brand System: Designed the new logo and logo mark, along with the complete visual identity, including typography direction, color palette, and overall brand design language.

  2. Brand Guidelines: Developed comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure consistency across retail environments, digital platforms, and product applications.

  3. Packaging Design: Designed a full packaging system, including sneaker boxes, shopping bags, stickers, clothing tags, and branded cards, creating a cohesive and elevated unboxing experience.

  4. Motion Design: Produced a logo reveal animation used for digital communication and brand presentation.



Goal

The goal was to create a strong and recognizable identity that reflects Chemtov’s position within contemporary sneaker and street fashion culture. The design needed to feel bold, modern, and collectible while remaining flexible enough to live across retail spaces, packaging, and digital media. The new identity system was designed to reinforce the brand’s credibility among sneaker enthusiasts while providing a clear and consistent visual language for future growth.

Client

Chemtov is a French street fashion and sneaker retailer founded by entrepreneur Yaniv Chem-Tov. The brand specializes in premium and collectible sneakers from leading brands such as Nike, Jordan, Adidas, and New Balance, including rare collector models such as the Nike Air Mag made famous by Back to the Future Part II. After seasonal openings in Courchevel and Saint-Tropez, Chemtov expanded with a year-round location in Megève, establishing itself as a destination for sneaker enthusiasts and collectors.
