Contemporary Fashion Brand

Summary

I created the visual identity for Somme Slovi, a contemporary fashion brand in New York. The work included a custom logotype, a cohesive design system, an e-commerce presence on Shopify, and brand applications across print, packaging, and social media. I also collaborated with the Creative Director on original textile prints for the VOL II collection to ensure the identity connected directly to the product line.

The scope of work included:
  1. Visual Identity: Designed a custom logotype, typography system, color palette, and layout rules that establish a modern, robust character.

  2. Web Design: Designed and structured the Shopify website with a clean UX, product pages, and editorial storytelling modules that translate the brand online.

  3. Print and Packaging: Produced lookbooks, hangtags, garment labels, shipping materials, and event collateral for a consistent physical brand experience.

  4. Illustrations and Collection Prints: Collaborated on original prints for the VOL II collection and supporting graphic elements for campaigns.


Goal

The goal was to establish a distinct and contemporary visual identity for Somme Slovi. The custom typography was crafted to feel clean and powerful, while the broader system integrates cultural references and tailored silhouettes into a cohesive framework. The outcome is a comprehensive identity that reflects the brand’s core values and stays consistent across digital, print, and product touchpoints.

Somme Slovi is a New York-based fashion brand that focuses on mixing cultural references and silhouettes and gravitates to re-imagine designs into a conceptual framework amid sportswear and traditional tailoring.
