AGING YOUNG REBEL

Music & Visual Project in New York

Summary

I developed the visual identity for Aging Young Rebel, a New York based music and visual project. The work ranged from a hand-drawn logotype to digital single artwork and supporting assets for releases and live use.

The scope of work included:

  1. Logo Design: Created a custom freehand logotype that conveys energy, authenticity, and a rebellious spirit across digital and print applications.

  2. Single Cover Design: Designed cover art for the singles Vibe, Blissed & Higher, and Fixxed on You, with versions adapted for streaming platforms and social thumbnails.

  3. Collateral Design: Produced promotional posters, social assets, and live event visuals to support releases and performances.

The singles were featured on Spotify’s Discover Weekly in 2019.


Goal

Create a bold and cohesive identity that represents the project across digital platforms and live stages. The freehand logo delivers an energetic and genuine feel, while the covers use contemporary references and illustration to present a distinctive visual language that supports the music and message.


Client

Aging Young Rebel is a music and visual project based in New York City. Inspired by a poem by Ken Nordine, the name challenges the music industry’s idea of glorified youth and centers authenticity and artistic independence.
