He studied Graphic Design at Pratt Institute and Mimar Sinan University and has 10 years of experience working with hospitality and fashion brands. Currently, Ekin is a Senior Graphic Designer at &LANA, where he continues to use his creative skills to deliver design solutions.

INDIE BEACH

Social Club






St. Tropez - 2024


This project was completed on behalf of &LANA, and collaborated with the &LANA creative team throughout the entire process.

Summary

I was engaged to develop a complete re-branding for Indie Beach, a renowned beach club and social hub in St. Tropez, commonly known as Jacquemus Beach. My work encompassed the following key components:

  1. Branding and Logo Design: Designed a fresh, hand-drawn logo that embodies the vibrant yet sophisticated spirit of Indie Beach. The new direction was crafted entirely by hand, giving the brand a unique, artisanal feel.
  2. Collateral Design & illustrations: Developed a cohesive set of branded collateral, including coasters, bottle labels, menus, print designs, and plates. Each element reflects the new brand identity, with all illustrative assets created using freehand illustration techniques to emphasize the personal and authentic character of the brand.
  3. Merchandise Design: Created branded merchandise, such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other apparel, incorporating the hand-drawn logo and visual identity into stylish pieces that align with the club’s trendy and exclusive vibe.


Goal

The goal was to reimagine Indie Beach’s brand identity with a fresh, hand-drawn approach, ensuring it maintained its charm while introducing a contemporary edge. Working alongside the &LANA creative team, we focused on creating a visual identity that enriches the guest experience, making sure every element, from the logo to the merchandise, feels personal and artfully designed.

Client

Indie Beach, part of Indie Group France, is a highly popular beach club and social destination in St. Tropez. Known for its chic atmosphere and vibrant social scene, the club offers a high-end beachside experience that effortlessly blends relaxation with luxury.
